The Public Service Commission, West Bengal will hold the West Bengal Civil Services (Executive) etc. Examination, 2023 on the results of which recruitment to the West Bengal Civil Services (Exe.) and certain other services and posts will be made. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of various sarkari naukri / government job vacancy of West Bengal Civil Services (Executive ) Examination 2023.

Essential Qualification For West Bengal Civil Services (Executive) etc. Examination 2023 :
(i) A degree of a recognized University.
(ii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali) – vide Finance Department’s Notification No.1243-F(P) dated 02.03.2016.
Age Limit :
For Group ‘A’ and ‘C’ : 21-36 years
Group ‘B’ : 20-36 years
Group ‘D’ : 21-39 years
Application Fee :
Rs.210/- (Rupees two hundred ten only) + Service Charge for online / offline payment. NOTE : SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
Examination Structure For West Bengal Civil Services (Executive) etc. Examination 2023 :
(1) Written Examination and (2) Personality Test.
Written Examination will be held in two successive stages, viz.,
(i) Preliminary Examination (Objective MCQ Type) and
(ii) Main Examination (Both Objective MCQ Type and Conventional Type).
A number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Preliminary Examination will be allowed admission to the Main Examination and a number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Main Examination will be called to appear at the Personality Test.
