UPSC( Union Public Service Commission) National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy Examination (I) 2026 will hold an examination on 12th April 2026 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 157th Course and for the 119th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 1st January, 2027.

- Army – 208 (Male – 198, Female -10)
- Navy – 42 (All Executive branch) (Male – 37, Female -05)
- Air Force –
- Flying – 92 (Male – 90, Female -02)
- Ground Duties (Tech)- 18 (Male – 16, Female -02)
- Ground Duties (Non-Tech) – 10 (Male – 08, Female -02)
- Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) : 24 (All Executive branch) (Male – 21, Female -03)
Eligibility Criteria :
- Nationality : Indian
- Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 01st Jul 2007 and not later than 01st July 2010 are eligible.
- Educational Qualification :
- For Army Wing of National Defence Academy :—12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :—12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Application Fee : 1. SC/ST candidates/female candidates / Wards of JCOs/NCOs/OR – Nil 2. For All Others – Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only)
