Cantonment Board Allahabad, is the municipal authority for the complete Cantonment which is situated in three different pockets at New, Old and Fort Cantonments. The Cantonment Board was established in 1857 and looks after the municipal administration in the Cantonment area The Board undertakes all the municipal functions like the neighboring municipal body i.e. the Nagar Nigam, but unlike other municipal bodies, undertakes land management also in the civil area which is one of its statutory duties.

Cantonment Board, Allahabad Post Details :
1. Jr. Assistant / Revenue Collector : 06 Posts Pay Scale : 5200-20200+GP Rs 2000/- (Level 3)
Educational Qualification : Intermediate with CCC certificate from DOEACC society or a certificate equivalent thereto from any Govt. recognized institution. English & Hindi Typing (25 WPM in Hindi and 30 WPM in English.
2. Assistant Teacher(Primary) : 05 Posts Pay Scale : 9300-34800 + GP Rs 4200/- (Level 6)
Educational Qualification :Bachelor Degree in any stream with state TET/CTET primary level exam passed with :- a) D.EI.Ed(BTC) or b) D.Ed. 02 years Diploma or c) D.Ed. (Special Education) Diploma d) 2 year special BTC e) 2 year BTC diploma in urdu f) BI.Ed. exam passed g) B.Ed. exam passed h) Soksha Mitr with 02 year BTC course.
3. Jr Engineer(Civil) : 01 Post Pay Scale : 9300-34800 + GP Rs 4200/- (Level 6)
Educational Qualification : 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering after intermediate from UP.
Application Fee :
Rs 1000/- for Unreserved . Rs 800/- for Ex-serviceman/Departmental candidates (UR/OBC/SC). Rs 500/- for OBC . Rs 300 for SC/ST . No fee for PWD candidates.
